The rebuttal:

First of all, this is an Oompa Loompa. They are not really reflective.

And this is the lovely Mariska. No white overalls, no brown turtlenecks.

As you can tell, they don't really look alike. The orange stands out gorgeously from the darker colors we saw showing up at the awards. Furthermore, wearing a bold color should never be a crime! But hey, it's all good if Eva Longoria wears tangerine, or Portia DeRossi, but they're stereotypically gorgeous, so it's okay if they push the envelope.

There's nothing to dislike about her look. Her hair is well-done, her makeup is tasteful and attractive, the dress fits her well, and for crying out loud, it's Carolina Herrera. The material is, yes, shiny, but that's the way the material is meant to look. I'm not sure what you do for a living, but Carolina probably knows what she's doing.
